About Us

 

Polymer waste is a threat to the health and well-being of our planet and its inhabitants. This urgent challenge is now receiving long overdue attention and resources on a global scale.  TGP Holdings, llc through its daughter companies, PolyCycle, llc & PolyFuel, llc intends to develop and operate facilities to convert plastic waste into fuels and petrochemical feedstocks utilizing its commercially-scalable technology, called The Grispin Process™.   Presently, we are in the early stages of rolling out a PolyFuel processing plant in Arizona.  
 
The Grispin Process uses un-recyclable plastic waste as a raw material and converts it into a syn-crude oil called PolyCrude™. It is a product mixture of Naphtha, Distillates and LVGO (Light Vacuum Gas Oil) for use as feedstock in new monomer production.  Optionally, the PolyCrude can be further refined on-site to produce splash blendable ULS diesel, gasoline and other fuel products that can be sold into an open regional market.
 
The PolyCyclecompany specializes in preparing our PolyCrude for new monomer production.  The reasons for taking this approach are financial, strategic as well as environmental.  In locations with Steam Crackers nearby, it makes better fiscal sense to reduce shipping burdens.  It also makes good strategic and environmental sense to ‘close the loop’ and convert the PolyCrude into new monomer.
 
However, in some circumstances utilizing a Steam Cracker to make monomer may not be the best choice.  As mentioned, the shipping burden associated with this production has an economic as well as an environmental cost.  Despite the noble objective of “closing the loop”, in some circumstances, this could cause more harm than good.  The PolyFuel approach provides the needed flexibility for a better outcome when regional conditions do not favor the production of new monomer.
